Re: Palladium Printing

Hi Carol, glad to have another palladium printer aboard. Actually
there has been quite a lot of discussion about platinum and palladium
printing over the past 2 or 3 months. If you are new to the list
check out the archive. Most of the discussion has revolved around
papers, clearing problems and various methods of contrast control.
I have been conducting tests of about 2 dozen papers. Some
preliminary results have already been posted to the list (12/21/95).
This coming Tuesday I'll be going to Phoenix where I will have the
opportunity to use a densitometer to complete the interpretation of
the 21-step tests. I hope to report the results later this week along
with my subjective impressions of several of the papers for which I
printed an actual negative. Stay tuned ...
