You can find formulae for reversal processing in many sources which have
formulae in their contents such as "The Photo Lab Index" etc.
Kodak has long made a reversal'kit' and since T-Max films have come out
they have have 'improved' it. what the chemical difference is, I am not
sure of. Essentially, you can reverse process any B/W film, providing you
are willing to do testing, but, primarily the steps and times would be
similar.
If you also think about Polaroid's instant B/W film (processed in 60
seconds w/their machine) that is also a positive film. Many folks use
this method to eliminate making a positive, then a negative, for various
alternative processes such as Platinum/Palladium, Cyanotype, Van Dyke
Brown etc.
Also, if you do not like the idea of getting positives, you can always
copy your old negatives w/B/W copy film and a bellows kit or something
similar.
