When I asked for the yellowing of albumen, I didn't remember the cause for it in
the classic silver chloride process. If what comes to my mind now is correct,
that yellowing was caused by the silver albumenate, formed during sensitizing
additionally to silver chloride and impossible to fix out. As no silver is
involved with Fotempera, there may also be no yellowing...
This list is proceeding so fast and so many mails are coming in, that thinking
s. th. over for a day or two is almost impossible. Has this always been so?
Could anybody please explain to me how to look at the list's archive? Are all
the mails filed there? (If so I wouldn't dare downloading it, or my harddisk and
Telecom bill would explode...)
