Judy,

I would not want you to be mislead in to believing that the English system
is SO very civilised and SO superior. Most photographic sections in our
Academic and Public libraries have been carefully *edited* by secret
slashers waging war in the interests of Political Correctness.

On copyright. The enthusiastic lecturer who introduces students to hitherto
unheard of processes and images through the use of slides copied from books,
actually encourages students to purchase the books and the photographers so
endorsed. This is not hearsay, I see it happen regularly. There is an
arguable case for a commission to be paid to the lecturer who *sells*
photographers and their images in such a way. Or at least encouragement and
thanks.

Class sets of text for students? That is unjustifiable.
