I also had sent a note regarding dichromate, but it bounced, which is just as well, since Terry's was more
eloquent. I think that we can all use a gentle reminder about the materials that we use from time to time.
I don't think that it's so much fashionable to be chemical bashing, as it is people wanting to be able to
make an informed choice about what they work with, or intend to work with.
Lest Phillippe start to feel too well done, there are over 450 people out there, most not active, who benefit from
professional knowledge, such as his, with periodic information about proper handling of commonly used
materials, such as dichromate. But for the non-chemists, please make it a little more general!
