Mold on prints is one of the wost things that can happen to gelatin emulsions.
Make sure to contact an experienced photo conservator. Hold the prints close to
a week uv light source (like they are used for money testing...) Active mould
spores should show as bright fluorescing dots. Mold can soften gelatin so it
will dissolve even in cold water. You may try to carefully wipe it off with a
soft, dry brush. But by doing this no total removal of fungus can be achieved.
Keep the print below 60% RH and 25 deg. C to prevent new mold growth.
