Hello all,
I recently asked about tube and such and have recived some usefull
info, however i decided to go my own route. As I said eariler I wanted to
process some large format e-6 and do not have the cash to buy premaid tubes.
So I built out of pvc, black plastic, and epoxy a daylight tube that holds 4
4X5s. All told it cost $15.00. I just ran the first load of e-6 through it
and am very happy with the results. I do, however, have a few questions(i
supose i should have asked before i constructed the tube). People have been
talking about pva tubing, does this mean that pvc is a problem, will it
react with the chemistry? When I asked about pva at the hardware store the
guy looked at me like i had 2 heads, so i guess thay don't cary it. Where
can one get pva? Anyway I just wanted to share with you all that it was not
a big deal to make a daylight developing tube(as no one mentioned any but
open ended tubes for black and white) for use with color.
