A few years ago, I befrended a fellow photographer who happened to be the man in charge of
recycling/disposing of the old or unwanted chemicals at my University. I went through the chemicals in his
storage and made out with well over $1000 in chemicals. In the last two years, I haven't touched several
of the bottles and have made the decision to give away 3/4 to 1 pound silver nitrate and 2-3 pounds
Pyrogallic acid. These chemicals are AR grade, but some of them are almost 20 years old. I haven't had
any problem with any of them, but you might, depending on the application and sensitivity. If you want
them, drop me an email. I'd rather give them to the most deserving canidate, so tell me how you might
qualify--obviously this is an honor system kind of thing so don't lie.
Also, I don't want to screw around with sending hazerdous chemicals through the mail so whoever takes
the chemicals will pay for fedex with whatever hazerdous material charges apply. I also don't, obviously,
stand behind the chemicals in any way.
