Luis Nadeau's book on carbon printing is one the most valuable publications
around today.

In terms of carbon tissue, you will have to make your own.

Much of the literature is silent on the qualities required for making
negatives. Unless you shoot for carbon you'll likely be duping your silver
negs for carbon. From my experince I can tell you that you will need a net
density range from shadow to highlights of at least 2.0 log units, and if you
can get it up to 2.3, great. As such your paltinum negs are probably not
suited for carbon.

So, for advice, make one neg . . . make one great neg. Then learn to make
pigmented tissue, learn to sensitize it, learn to expose, trasnfer and
develop the image for that neg. Make the best print you can from that neg.
Then you have an existing system for all your new negs.
