Last Saturday in Paris, you said you would like to stop using formaline as the
last step for processing UltraStable.
You suggested the use of thymol (Luis said it wasn't a tanning agent) or
phenol.
But what is the real problem of formaline (formol)?
The lost of the beautiful mirrored surface? Or just the fear of working too
much and too often with this dangerous substance?
Can't you apply the formaline as vapors, not to affect the surface?
Or if you care for yourself, can't you use potassium alum?
