Have spent two nights in the darkroom working with Richard
Sullivan's ZIATYPE process. At their annual PLATYPUS PARTY
last night, I showed a step-wedge (double coated) made with
a ziatype, showing 19 steps. No problem. Can't wait until
I have enough experience with it to make it work better :^)
It can produce sepia, charcoal or near burgundy colours.
After 15 years of being a kallitype enthusiast, I may abandon
them entirely because the ZIATYPES have as much flexibility
with none of the archival nagging doubts of the kallitype.
