(Should not be more than 3 inches.) How close are the bulbs to each
other? (They should touch.) Which blacklight bulbs? (If they're the
BLB, dark blue in coated glass, instead of plain BL, you're paying 3 times
the price and getting 1/3 to 1/2 less light.)

And if that Palladio fixture is really dark blue it's the same BLB bulb,
tho if it's a reddish blue (more likely) it's probably the AQA bulb, which
peaks at 415 nms and is reputedly on the money for platinum, tho it does
dichromates, and presumably albumen silver, quite nicely too. These bulbs
however, can be bought from specialty bulb sources for about $20 each (or
$1000 less?), add your own vacuum.
