Well, good reply Steve. I like the 'pointy hat' part. Two sorts of folks
wear 'em: Dunces & Wizards/Witches. For the recent postings it has been
more like Dunces in a boxing ring rather than Wizards on opposite sides of
a kettle. Maybe they "baume" is actually the 'Baum who wrote "Wizard of
Oz."

I was somewhat relieved to read Steve's comment as referee especially as came at
much the same time as the point that brought it all to a close. But I think
that you would agree that if you had been able to make a constructive comment
making a positive contribution at an earlier stage, that would have been more
helpful.

MJC did make a useful point about the reaction of the pupil that I hope brought
the discussion to a close. It was a point that should have been clear from the
start to us all especially as it was something we all knew. But,evenso, some
useful points were made and a number of misconceptions and misunderstandings
were clarified and differing approaches to picture making were aired. That is
what the list is for.

I have also been surprised at the sensitivity to heat. Different people need to
be addressed in different ways. Peter Marshall and I have been friends for
twenty years and we still are friends.

'Again thankyou for your refereed comment'

I think it would be a good idea if you were to read the referee's comments again
carefully.
