I've been following the discussions about film with interest. No one has
yet mentioned "Freestyle" High Speed Duplicating Film. I have been using
this successfully for direct duplication of 35mm to 10" x 12". I
standardize the development using dektol @ approx 6:1. I will probably make
two or three exposures until I see one that contains some density and tonal
range.

I have found that the gum printing medium is relatively forgiving with
negative quality.

I thought that the zone system discussions were interesting.

Has anyone discussed or tried using paper negatives for gum printing.
