It's been very interesting going through the last couple of years of
the archives. I'm going to try Gum Dichromate and I'm on a very limited
budget. I've noticed the cost of Gum Arabic is high (about $200 a lb.
at the Formulary). I've been told that I can get significantly cheaper
Gum Arabic solution from Litho supply companies. Does anyong have an
opinion on the level of quality betwwen the specialty photo chemical
co. andd the cheaper stuff??

I'm looking for the first part of an article by Steve Anchell in Camera
& Darkroom Magazine on Gum Printing from May 1993. I have the second
part of the article about color printing, unfortunately the Magazine is
out of business and I can't find it at any of the local libraries. I'd
very much appreciate a copy of the article or possible just the formula.

Thanks!
