Can you use blanket wash to Clean them? It is availabe to printers. It
should not harm the brayer even if you are using one of those soft rubber
coated types. We used it for cleaning printers ink off of everything. It is
to be used for cleaning rollers on printing presses and washing blankets
(the final surface that the ink is on before the impression is made to the
paper). Relativly safe, but flammable.
