I recently saw pld. on vellum while in santa fe. It was @ the pt.
pld. gallery on canyon drive. The piece was very nice. It was an image of a
flower (possibly a type of magnolia) i dont recall the specifics, but the
artist printed on vellum and then layed the image on a white matt board of
the desired reflectivity, or it could have been a water color paper. Dick
sullivan may have some more specifics. The gallery is in his end of the
holler. (as we say here in arkansas) I remember that the genletman said
that one should be prepared to trash more prints than usual, because of the
delicate nature of the vellum.
