For those who believe that it is difficult to get hold of details of proprietary
pigments may i suggest that they acquire:
'Notes on the composition and permanence of artists' colours including
information on artists' oil colour whites and painting auxiliaries for oil,
water & acryloc colours' published by that 'secretive' organisation W & N.
I only use powder pigment for extreme shadow detail where black on black is
needed. Then I use Conellisen's black powder pigment. Otherwise I never use
black.
