Not everybody and/or not all the time one is after a very "large DoF with
nothing sharp" type of look. When making exposures with 35mm format I want
the "sharpest" result on film I can get 'cause I know that after blowing it
up to 8x10" it most likely will fall apart if it is not.

Having patience and a microscope (toy one works well) one can make very
round and clean pinholes. Store bought pinholes are generally intended for
laser spatial filters and therefore are not only clean and round but very
precise (size) which make them expensive.

Check my page http://www.pathcom.com/~gpenate and you will see that it is
possible to make "sharp" pictures. LION for instance was taken with a 4x5"
pinhole camera and enlarged to 8x10 and then scanned. Even MALL SCENE #1
and #2 are surpricely "sharp" considering they were made from 35mm format
negatives and enlarged to 8x10 -with some cropping!!!-.
