Keith Schrieber and myself had dealt with this problem especially after
using the Platine paper. Normal clearing did not remove all the pink.
Some hypo clearing
solution fixed this. The problem was not as pronounced on Platinotype (Cranes)
paper but was a problem when EDTA was used with Potassium Oxalate developer.
We found that EDTA did not work well with PO. It did work perfect with
Ammonium Citrate developer. Potassium Oxalate needed one ot the acid
clearing agents. ie dilute phosphoric acid.
