Circular Show of polymer photogravures

Hi everybody,

Over the past months the quality of polymer photogravure prints has
occasionally been discussed on this list. Since the technique is quite ne=
w,
only a very limited number of such prints have been produced, and many of
these probably with less than optimal procedures. Consequently, only a
small number of list members have had a chance to examine such prints, an=
d
some of those prints that have been up for examination may even have been
of inferior quality.

After having been occupied for the last 6 or 8 months with working out
optimal procedures for the production of polymer photogravure prints, I
feel that I have now reached a stage where satisfactory prints may be
produced. Therefore the thought has occurred to me that it might be an
interesting enterprise to put up some of these latest prints for public
examination among members of this group; although I realize quite well th=
at
my own level of expertice is by no means maximal, I _do_ feel that the
process as used by me is well worth an evaluation and a comparison to
related techniques.

I shall therefore propose to initiate a Circular Show comprising five of =
my
latest photogravures. Members of the list may sign up for this show by
personal e-mail to me before September 15. Participation in the show
implies obligation to mail the tube containing the prints to the next
member on the address list within a number of days to be determined from
the number of participants. The weight of tube plus prints amounts to clo=
se
to 700 grams; the postage will depend on where the next recipient is
located.

Anybody wishing further information on the polymer photogravure process i=
s
invited to visit my Home Page.

PS. In the (unlikely) event of too many participants I may have to
reconsider the project; therefore, please only sign up if you are genuine=
ly
interested. Thank you.

Greetings,

Strange
