Choice of paper for cyanotype is a matter of preference. If it will
help, I will tell you that I prefer unsized watercolor papers. Whatever
paper you choose, I recommend that you test its pH. If is above 7 you
should not use it for cyanotype as it will cause the image to fade.
After the initial yellow of the unexposed salt is washed away you should
not get much fading. Try testing the pH of your wash water. Some folks
acidify their wash water to prevent fading. Cyanotype is cheap enough
that you can try putting it on almost anything. I have put it on wood,
cloth, handmade paper, etc.
