Re: Hake-type brushes

O.K. I called Yasutomo, and I ordered a Daniel Smith catalog too, so
within the month I should be up to my eyeballs in hake brushes.

Question: What do people do to limit sensitizer absorbtion by the
brush? I know about pre-dampening the brush, and I think it was Judy
that gives her brush a shave -- reducing the number of bristles. Anyone
else?

Bonus question: Do you do anything special to keep hairs from falling out
of the brush?

What about shortening the bristles so they're only about 3/4" long?

Extra bonus question: I've used foam brushes before -- I seem to recall
them working pretty well, but don't they sort of disintegrate getting
little bits-o-foam (foam dust?) in the sensitizer?

Thanks for all the help, friends!
