Oh well another thing....@ SFAI, where I've taught since 1969...I became
chair in or around '72 and hired a dye printer, gumnist and platinum
printer to teach classes. We did cyanotypes et al. Only a few esoteric
students took these classes and they were dropped by 1976 though we
attempted to keep something happening in the summer.
As Judy noted, things seemed to drop off in the '80's. Perhaps those few
excited folk from the initial interest, went out and proselytized ...
and, voila. A jourd hui, beaucoup dudes 'n dudettes hysterical about
historical processes.
