I hadn't thought of filtering the solution - that may well be the
problem (I use a coffee filter when returning stop and fix after
"regular" print processing). There does seem to be a good bit of little
chunks in there. To my understanding, the Arches paper I'm using has
already been sized - it's got the ragged ends with the geltin (?)
extending slightly beyond. I will be building a light box some time in
the future so that I can continue to work this winter.
