I still use good old-fashioned Kodak

Russell writes: I remember when I locally purchased the last rolls of
Panatomic-X. It was a heart breaking experience. I do still have one roll
in the box (35mm) dated 1972 that was given to me by a friend.

We, here at the University are about to go digital. I personaly
have never cared for it until this year. It can save this one man show my
back from lugging around a Mamiya RZ and many hours in the darkroom and
dealing with poor local labs. This I DO look forward to. It will (I feel)
keep me from burning out here at the office and will make my personal
(traditional) work at home even more a joy. We will still continue to use
some traditional methods here, but the film and paper purchases per year
will go down considerably.
