Cranes ecru paper will show grain quickly, not as grain reproduction
from the negative, but as a product of the way platinum precipates to
the paper. Cranes platintype paper is a much finer weave paper. hot
press. Finer grain patterns.

If you have the density for a #1 emulsion, you will get the silk! But
it also has to be on the right paper.
