Far from it.
I come from outside teaching where my experience is to take a wider and
objective view based upon facts and logic.
What students tell me of their experiences horrifies me.
The reality is that it is some academics who cannot 'objectively listen to or
evaluate ideas that are contrary to their own'. Or even accept that they may be
wrong. This has been made very plain by the bullying tactics they have adopted
here.
Others are just bored with this sort of thing.
