Luis already explained what the ink is. I thought it might help to
mention that Rotring make some of the best pens for drafting and
engineering drawing around. If you can find a technical stationers, or
if you're on the same campus with an architecture or engineering
faculty, you should be able to locate Rotring products (including ink)
fairly easily.
