To fix kallitype with least possible loss of density & highlight detail,
my comparisons of fixed, dried Stouffer tablets show that *one* percent
fixer for *no more than* two timed, agitating, minutes works best.
"Watching" highlight of a wet moving print is uncertain at best, not to
mention inconsistent unless timed.

Of course, different papers could well have different fixing speeds;
better then to test each paper than rely on "signs" of bleaching in the
act.

The possibility also remains that bleaching could begin *before* fixing is
done. My 2-minute time on a couple of not-too-thick papers was checked by
re-exposure.

Important: remember the ammonia in the fixer.
