I see my "wit" is not appreciated. Sorry. The actual war at issue was
about 1907-ish, and as I recall was with Japan. However, the "subject at
hand" or the subject I'd like to see clarified is relative stability of
kallitype, especially in view of the very few vintage kallitypes reported
in "archival" collections.
