Along with using a film that has large grain to begin with try using a film
developer with no sodium sulifte. Sodium Sulfite has a nasty habit of
disloving the edges of the grain structure hence "finer grain" at least
that's what they call it! For really SHARP grain structure try using
Rodional 1-25, less contrast 1-50. Also Dektol around 1-3 produces some
interesting grain.
