Terry and all
I don't see this (the above) as being a problem, but rather the nature of
the medium. One chooses to post one's images on the web with full knowledge
that there ain't nuthin' like the realy thing (baby). I personally have had
a heck of a time trying to match tonal and contrast ranges with my web
photos, primarily because photoshop and netscape seem to take a single image
and display it on my screen with two very different renderings. Now imagine
however more numbers of monitors (with different calibrations, different
graphics cards etc) view images.
