The first time I heard about this was some 5 years ago when a friend of mine,
who then was head of the AGFA sales dept. (graphic arts division) of northwest
Germany (now retired) told me that these films will be discontinued in a few
years. At that time he couldn't tell me an exact date. My dealer told me the
same thing some months ago.
Some days ago I got the information I posted from somebody working for one of
the biggest german intaglio printing companies. They still etch their cylinders
with carbon prints as etching resists and are using the AGFA GO210p with the
GEVAREX contrast adapting system. AGFA has informed them that the decision was
made at the green table and told them the date for the last production run.

I must confess that this still is third hand information, so I will try to find
out what really goes on and will keep you informed.
