What is Mordancage, Part 2

Thank you for all the postings and personal replies I received
in response to my question about mordancage (cedilla on the C),
also called etch bleaching. I had downloaded the archive files
for September and October but had found nothing. Those who
remembered that the previous discussion took place in August
were correct, and I was also very glad to have the URL for the
search facility because it is much easier than searching through
the massive individual files.

I was disappointed, however, to find that in fact there was
not much concrete information in the August exchange.
Luis Nadeau mentioned Glafkides_Chimie_et_Physique_Photographique,
which is apparently out of print. Peter Marshall discussed chemistry
a bit, and thought that there was perhaps a company in the UK that
sold a kit. I think what I'm looking for at this point is a book,
monograph, or journal article that discusses the chemistry and the
process. Can anyone give a reference?

I've searched the catalogs of the libraries at the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Duke University, and NC State
University. Nothing there. Nothing at the local bookshops (new
or used), although it was fun looking.

Again, thank you very much for the help you have given me, and
for anything more you can offer.
