Klaus,

Does the ammonia have any impact on image contrast? Logic would suggest
that if the tissue is slower with ammonia the contrast will be increased?
Is this so?

I have never had this problem with spirit sensitizers (I use acetone). I
coat once applying the sensitizer from end to end, top to bottom, then on
the diagonal, wait for about a minute and repeat.
