Janet,
I have been using Arista APH (and APHS, although it now seems to be
unavailable) for making positives for photogravure. I develop it in Kodak
D-19 stock solution diluted 1:4, generally for 1.5 to 2 or more minutes. This
film has been working well for me and it is not too expensive. The only
difference I have noticed between APH Sand APH is that the latter tends to
turn the developer pink. ???. I order it from Freestyle.
