What advantages are there in using potassium citrate, which is not readily
available, over citric acid which can be bought cheaply from the
supermarket shelf ? <
I use a plain 2% salt solution to salt the paper, but I add a little citric acid
to the sensitiser. My sensitiser is 15% silver nitrate to which I add one-tenth
of the amount of 20% citric acid. i.e. 30ml of 15% silver nitrate plus 0.3ml of
20% citric acid. It seems to work fine.
