It was nice reading Judy Siegel=B4s lines regarding ink jet and =
kallitypes.
I agree with Judy, she went straight to the point.=20
Obviously the pleasure of building an image with your own hands is =
absent from ink jet printing. (For me at least).
But I also understand that for other people the source of pleasure is =
not the how and what, but the what alone.

Years ago, I gave up advertising photography and dedicated myself =
exclusively to alternative photography and to teaching.
I teach photography and alternative photo processes at 3 art schools in =
Portugal, and the first thing I tell my students is that photography =
must be like masturbation and singing in the shower - please excuse me =
if I am being rude -=20
a very individualistic source of pleasure.

Take the pleasure from your work, and your photographs will show.

On the other hand, here in Portugal where simple things like foam =
brushes and your favorite brand of watercolor paper disapear from the =
market for months at a time, you really have to be a nut case like =
myself, to dedicate yourself exclusivelly to alt photo printing.
