No, I meant that a singular image could be adjusted for any and all
processes through changes in the contrast, etc. This would require
different negatives, one for each process...unless some processes could
share a neg. It's the equivalent of taking one image and printing it in
various processes until one "works."
I'm still thinking about this. In the meantime, I visited Mike Ware's
page and thought the Argyrotypes were stunning. They looked like they
had brown to black color shift...just what I'm interested in. In the
immediate future, I believe I'll be printing with ink-jet IRIS prints or
a similar process. It makes more sense (for me), when coming out of a
digital environment.
I need some time off to work on these processes.
