Judy,

No, not more sensitive to impurities, just a better indication of
impurities already existing in papers to which it's not suited. This is
based on the emulsion's tendency to turn green and even blue in reaction
to those impurities.

Also, I simply found it worked better, and on more papers than the
traditional formula. That's based on my conditions, of course. If the old
formula works for you, great. The new one works better for me.
