The paper could well be the problem. I've had good success from one of
Arches' papers I got at the local art store. However, I've had no
success whatsoeverwith Aquarelle Arches. Perhaps I need to change my
procedure to accommodate the paper, but I'll probably go back to the
paper I was using before.

I use regular fix at a 1:10 dilution (normal dilution is too "hot" for
me). I fix for about 3 minutes.
