...And, just for the record, Mike Ware says that his chemically related
Argyrotype process gives really awful results on Platine paper.... again he
says this is dues to the stuff that Arches put in the paper. Isn't it true
that the silver-based Alt processes tend to be a bit more fussy about the
material used as a support?

BTW, for those who have not yet tried Platine for platinum-palladium (or
just palladium), it can give truly wonderful results (which is not to say
that other papers cannot do the same....)!
