Bromoil Workers:

I have been working with a non-supercoated fiber-base double weight paper and if
all goes well, I will place an order for a run. For 18 years I have been trying
to persuade Kentmere to bring back their D.W. Matt paper, but to no avail. Why
they would bother with a thin single weight coating is beyond me.

The only modern paper that I do not find suitable for the process is Kodak
Elite. All other papers that I have worked with in the past few years have
produced exhibition quality prints.

For those experiencing difficulty inking up, I suggest you use either Luminos
Charcoal (Kentmere Art Deluxe) or Agfa MCC 118 Matt. These 2 papers ink up as
easily as the non-supercoated paper and should present no problems.
