Deliquescent like a sponge. That's why it used to come in sealed glass
tubes. Traditionally it was packaged in the tubes in a dry chamber. Selling
the dry crystals in tubes was done so the buyer would know how much he or
she was getting. We dispense with all of this nonsense and sell it in
percentage liquid form.

Never noticed. I would suspect that an older print might tone slower.
