Hi Folks,
Thanks for all the kind sentiments people. I didn't really
know what I was getting into when I started (as Judy has said), but am
quite proud of the result (and rightfully so I believe). The list has
really worked out to be a very productive and friendly place (unlike
some others of which I have been a member). From humble beginnings has it
come a long way.
But, of course, that really isn't my doing. It's the work of
all those people that have participated. If you look back, you'll see
I've really only posted administrative stuff - that doesn't make a
list interesting.
I hope you'll all be gentle with Gord as he starts up the list
at its new home. The move should be mostly transparent - I'll just
change the mailing address from going to the listproc, to going to
Gord's site. The only thing that may happen is that some people who
have only recently joined may get left behind. I'll advise as to what
to do about this (and how to tell), later.
