Well, we cannot use "Non-Silver" as it has been brought up by some that
silver is involved in most, if not all, of the processes. Even if the final
images don't contain silver, the term will still not be accurate because
regular color negatives and color prints do not have silver in them.

I think that no matter we use classical, alternative, complementary, or
whatever term, the word "processes" must be included, otherwise the terms
could include both the aesthetic part as well as the processes, and that
could cause some confusion.

How about something like "alternative emulsion processing." The processing
part is a more general term which can include preparation and manipulation.
Most of the processes will fall under alternative emulsion preparation, and
process like Polaroid transfer will fall under alternative emulsion
manipulation.

As I am not familiar with all alt. processes, please name and describe some
processes that you think cannot fit under the categories mentioned above,
then maybe we can work further toward a more accurate name.
