To see examples of Bob's work, find a copy of "Camera & Darkroom" magazine,
October 1992. There's a small, but well done article about Schlaer and his
work on pages 48 & 49. It also includes two reproductions of his work. I've
seen his work first hand, and they do not do it justice. They do, however,
give you an idea of its high quality. Interestingly, his wife co-authored a
tremendous volume on dags and their conservation.

Also, George Eastman House offers dag workshops sillage@magic.fr (as well as wet plate) once
, or possibly twice a year, so you might contact them as to when they are
being offered this year.
