My use of the word ' wrong ' was a reaction to another's use of the word.

Somebody else said that the arguments here were right in practice but wrong
in theory. This would seem to indicate that there is something wrong with
the theory in that it did not take account of all the possibilities.

As to you comment above, my own practice has been to over expose and over
develop FP4 which results in very similar Pt/Pd and carbon prints with good
shadow and highlight detail with no discernible distortion in the middle
tones. This would seem to indicate that, as with the earlier discussion,
we agree in practice.

PS Are you interested in the spring meeting now to be held in Bath on the
first weekend in June. I would like to be able to include you as a
speaker.
