Large Neg/ Paper Negatives Alternative

Better than a low res inkjet output, why not consider making an
interpositive and project it on to mural paper (readily available and not
to expensive) I believe it comes 42" by X number of feet. The print will
take longer to expose with a paper negative, but at least you're still
doing photography.
As for difference in print quality w/ a paper negative, perhaps others on
the list w/ practical experience can answer.
